I have a serious debate going on with a dear friend of mine. For now, we've decided to "agree to disagree", but I'm curious to know my fellow Foodee's opinions! LOL!
My friend has given up cookies. She has denounced them... sent them on their way... removed them from her life. The "Cookie Banishment" started approximately three weeks ago and according to said friend, she has not eaten a cookie since then and proudly tells people this.
However, she has eaten cookie dough. You know, the squares of chocolate chip cookie dough that you buy, break off, bake and eat as a cookie.
My argument is that cookie dough counts as a cookie. It is just an unbaked cookie.
Her argument is that she does not have the same craving for the dough as she does for the actual baked cookie, therefore eats less than if they were baked. She says because she did not bake it, it does not count as a cookie.
I'm not trying to diminish her progress in the cookie crave battle, but to me, a cookie is a cookie, baked or not.
What do YOU think?
