Had a scary moment today at work. I received an emailed invitation to an Exit Interview from HR. I stared at the subject line for a few minutes and then opened it. Looking at the list of invitees, I suddenly realized it was for the other Betty in the office, who is retiring next month. Love those auto-fill email addresses!
Anyway, I really laughed loudly, because in my six years there, I have often received emails meant for her, and she has received many meant for me. My supervisor insisted I tell her what was so funny. So she went to tell HR what they did, while I simply responded to the email with "No, I will not be attending."
Yikes!
