How does your personal coloring affect the fashion choices you make? Do your choices seem to concur with the suggestions others make for you?

What colors/combinations do you feel work particularly well for your coloring? For other coloring profiles?

For example, I totally LOVE a deep purple on coppery brunettes. Mary Steenburgen in Back to the Future 3 is my proof that this combination is win.
