Can someone clarify for me how pix at Dims are found and sent on to their final resting place---the world outside of Dimensions? I don't imagine people are doing random searches and finding fat pix, so someone trolls Dims (or is a member) and collects them and sends them on, yes? Or am I missing something? so posting them here in the C'house doesn't help b/c it's possible a member of the C'house would be passing them along, too? I know that this section of the board isn't...what, crawled by spiders? I'm not sure what that story is, but since I can't imagine the 'happening on a photo' is random or the result of a search, most likely, then it's someone who visits Dims and collects pix, which means the C'house is not a place to post them if you don't want them shared outside the walls.
I'm trying to unpack all of the ways this 'someone is coming to Dims and taking pix' thing bothers me. And not just the obvious reasons, either. I'm not naive, and I've been around the block, but something about this is more troublesome than I'm used to.
