I am cooking pierogies tonight. Not that this is terribly special, but it's at the high-effort end of anyting I cook, so I felt like bragging. 48 pierogies, 3 spanish onions, and 3/4 lb. butter. Now if only my stove had two large burners instead of only one.
If anyone does not know what a pierogie is, it is a polish food (I believe russian also). It is a noodle pocket usually stuffed with potatoes blended with cheese or sour cream, but sometimes stuffed with mushroom or sour kraut instead. You first boil them, then fry them in butter.
So, between me and Ataraxia, how fast do you think we can make 48 pierogies dissapear?
