She just called me a bit ago. This afternoon she and her sister were taking one of the dogs to town to the vet and stopped at her brother's house. As she was leaving and going down their steps, she slipped and fell. Her leg ended up broken where the leg bone connects to the ankle, and a chip of bone broke off. The ER sent her home in some kind of cast, but she will likely have to have surgery.
She was supposed to fly out on Tuesday to spend the summer out here in Oregon. We had so many fun things planned.
Hopefully she can stiill come out, just a little later.
