Addition-Elle is one of the major women's plus-sizes chain-stores in Canada. Whatever one may think of their clothes, I give them credit for actually advertising widely (i.e. ads on major television chains). Of course like most plus-sizes chains, the models they use would mostly wear only the lower end of their size range and are, well, models, so not very representative of their average customers.
Anyway, here is a link to a piece about their fall advertising campaign, and three of the ads are linked in the piece. Just curious what women in their target market think of these ads -- like 'em, indifferent, they make you cringe ....
And please link in ads from other stores that you think are especially good or bad, and let us know why you like them or don't. I think it would be interesting to get different perspectives on these.
(and FWIW, as an FA, my reaction to seeing plus sized models strutting around on TV will generally be "Yes!" even if 'plus-sized model' is probably about average size for the population or something -- still more substantial looking than most of what we see on TV)
