Big Moves-Boston seeks triple-threats of all sizes for another amazing season of size-diverse dance! This years calendar is filling up:
10/19-11/10: Lard (original 1950s musical); 12/9-10: Heavy Metal Holidays (a rockin hard revue); 2/8: Sweat (our showcase fundraiser); 4/18-5/2: The Big Top (circus-themed revue)
And thats not even counting gigs, school shows, and showcases! Openings in jazz and hip hop troupes, and speaking roles to fill for Lard, too. Our shows tour New England, NYC, and Montreal. We were named Best Dance Company in the Boston Phoenixs 2006 Readers Choice issue.
New dancers rehearse 3 to 9 hours a week, depending on level of involvement, and participate in Big Moves profit-share program. We encourage people over size 16, people of color, and men or butch-identified woman to audition. Big Moves is proudly queer- and trans-friendly.
