Matteo Salvini, as of writing still Italy's Interior Minister and leader of the right-wing populist Lega Nord Party currently is probably one of Europe's most dangerous politicians - so politically definitely not my cup of tea.
Nevertheless - although he is barely chubby and not a real BHM - he has made the issue of bellies on the beach a noteworthy political one in the positive sense this summer.
