Those of you who've been around Dimensions for a while know that I have always kept political discussions out of it. I relaxed that rule when I set up Hyde Park as a place where people can speak up about issues. I expected those issues to be mostly size related. Interestingly, they turned out to be mostly political.
That poses the question as to why. There are probably thousands of political boards out there and far fewer size acceptance boards (and, of course, only one Dimensions!). So why rant on politics here? Is it just such an irresistible topic? Me, I'd rather eat used kitty litter than dicuss politics, but it seems I am in he minority. Or is it that people rather discuss their interests, in this case politics, at a place they like and that represents their size-related leanings?
