Ok, I bought three dresses today that are GORGEOUS. They are all perfect length, perfect skirt flare, perfect cut, only thing not perfect... they don't fit my upper body well at all. Too tight b/c of my massive boobs.

I would be wearing a cardigan/sweater with them ALL of the time always as they are summer dresses I'm going to try to pass on through winter.

My question, to ya'll, would it be the most laughable, hideous, unthinkable thing in the world for me to buy some sort of elastic fabric or even disassemble something stretchy I own now and tack the fabric between the zipper of the dress to give it more ... well, give...?? The most tight dress, I'd want to add at least 3-4 inches just so I can be more comfortable throughout the day and not worry about shapewear. So, that'd be the zipper wide open with something stretchy filling that gap.

Any advisements? Suggestions? Warnings?

I'm very hard to fit for dresses... almost 5'7'' flat footed but still very petite legs, long torso, huge upper body, just regular large size lower body... just very hard to fit... so to find three cotton dresses that are cut in a flattering way is exciting.

thanks in advance.
