I was not sure where to place this thread. I felt that, in light of the recent..and the ongoing..struggles and emotion surrounding the letting the world know who ' we ' love..I only knew it needed to be posted.

I am not going to scold people for talking about their own struggles in ' coming out ' . One persons difficulties will be thought a walk in the park, with only an occasional mole hill to stumble over, by others.

When you read the hardships and the breathtaking obstacles these two dear women had to endure and fear.. and the huge rewards of over FIFTY years..well, I hope it helps bring into perspective, the anxieties ' you ' feel.
Do not compare yourselves to Ms Lyon and Ms Martin..but...please...look for people exactly like this for strength. If you don't choose to do this..at least do not drag any other people into your prison cell. Ask yourselves what would happen if you opened that door....what would really happen.
