I have some questions about the fit of a shirt I got from the Lane Bryant Catalog & wondered if maybe you guys might know? I normally wear a size 24 but with some stuff mainly tops, dresses and sweaters with sleeves I have to get a 26 cuz the sleeves are cut so tight.
I recently bought this top from the Lane Bryant Catalog & got it the other day. I know folks may think it is kind of typical fat lady stuff but the hearts on it got to me even tho I usually like trendier stuff. I got it in a 3X which according to their sizing is a 30/32. The reason I got it in a 3X was that last yr I got a top that was almost like it with the same hearts appliques on it except it was made out of red & white checked material. Generally I don't care for checked material but I really liked the hearts appliques on it. I got it in a 2X cuz I just knew the 1x which equals a 22/24 would be too snug in the sleeves. I got the 2X & it was too snug in the sleeves so I had to send it back & get a 3X. It fit great. So with the denim version of it I figured I better get a 3X. Well the 3X is a little too big. So I am wondering, should I send it back & get a 2X or should I just keep the 3X? I wonder if the 2X would fit fine or would it end up being too snug in the sleeves esp after washing? Is there anyone that might know about the fit of this & which size to get it in? Keep the 3X or send it back & get a 2X? Thanks for any info to whoever knows...
