One of the WWF's star performers, The Ultimate Warrior aka James Hellwig aka Warrior (since he legally changed it) has passed at the age of 54. Even more sad is the fact the just days ago he was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame.

I was very young when The Warrior was a superstar, but my older brother and mom were both big wrestling fans and since we lived in CT at the time, they went to a few matches. I often heard about a Warrior vs Andre the Giant bout that last all of 10 seconds, with the Warrior being named the winner. (There was also a little anecdote about a man who was sitting in front of my family who was dressed like the Warrior and kept yelling for him, but just as the man went to go get into the beer line, the Warrior and Andre came out, Andre went down and the poor guy missed all of it)

I know there was a falling out between the Warrior and the WWF, and I was super excited to hear about him being inducted a few days ago. He truly deserved it!
