It is hot outside here in Windsor. I think it is over 90 on the Yank scale. Seems to be one of the few countries left using that scale. Makes more sense than centigrade. It is about 33C. So what. We just had a thunderstorm so I had to unplug my TV just in case. Last year I had a storm kill my TV and DVD player.

Anyway, maybe all this sweating is good for some weight loss? Naw, I seem to keep drinking soda and my weight stays the same at about 220 pounds.

I was thinking about this size acceptance phenomenon and wonder why Conrad is out there playing with his cars instead of contributing to this forum. He seems to be able to recruit women to assist him. I mean, this site is owned by an admirer. Okay, Ruby might be a co-owner, but she doesn't post much except on the paysite board. So how come women are chosen as moderators here? Seems to me we could use some male input. The gals are doing their best but allow way too many insults on the board. When that happens everyone knows they can get away so a free for all results. Of course I personally refrain from personally insulting anyone. That doesn't stop many from feeling insulted or offended. We need, in this mixed adult forum, mature and experienced moderators. I wonder if it is fair to choose those who are active and frequent contributors? Why? Well, who moderates the moderators? Only Conrad, and he is out there installing the latest supercharger on his hotrods. That is fine but the board then becomes this place where too many vent instead of debate issues. Oh, of course most might come here just to socialize. That is fine, too. I wonder why the board has become this very different place to what it was in the past. If you are going to have a lounge then remove all the non-issue threads there. Why keep some here and remove others? There has to be some sort of consistency.

If a moderator is going to post personal remarks about her life then it becomes rather unfair to post in that thread. They know their opinion carries more weight because of their status. If they get involved and make personal remarks about others then they are abusing their role as moderators. I hope everyone sees this is a serious issue and not an attack about specific people or threads. All in all the gals have done a fair job and I think we all appreciate that. However, why have board rules if they are not followed and enforced?

It was interesting to see the effect that posting photos had for one woman. Popularity up and interest up. That is what this site should be all about. A place where large women can participate and discover they are valued and appreciated and even liked for their size and shape. That seldom happens in real life for most fat women and it is refreshing and special that it does happen here. I would expect that more women will follow that example and reveal more about their figure and be proud of who they are. This is the place to come out of the closet. The people here all accept and praise the large female form.

I was wondering if we need an admirer board here. Sally Smith wrote about this need and nothing has changed since she wrote that years ago. Admirers have special needs and issues and that is something that could be thought about. Perhaps there needs to be another board where women can discuss personal issues among themselves? There could be a place to tell others about weight loss that is not related to WLS. Every large woman I have ever met wants to lose size and weight. When I asked one supersized gal what she would most like to change in her body she replied, "All of it!" That surprised me because I thought she might say her tummy or something like that. Nope, she wanted all of it gone. This is always going to be an issue with large women. NAAFA failed partly because they were in denial about this fact. Okay, the admirers didn't mind that diet talk was forbidden. I have always been perplexed by that because if it is true that diets don't work feeders don't have to feed a fat woman but strarve her! Either that fact about dieting is true or it is patently false. You can lose fat but you have to persist with a lifestyle change.

Talking about WLS, I notice that some of the good ladies here have had that operation and are pleased with the results. Is this a forum for those women, too? There are also women who post here who are not large. Are they welcome here? Well, the plain truth is size acceptance means that all bodies are equally okay. Admirers voice their approval of the larger figures but we all know they are wired to do so and therefore are biased and in a minority. If we could find a gene to make all men admirers would we want all men to be like that? I doubt it. The scientists will find genes that tend to make people obese and will win the Nobel Prize for their discovery.

I have this issue about people with various addictions. While I sympathize with those who are addicts and alcoholics I wonder if we should accommodate them here? If the board rules are followed then some of these people should find somewhere else to hang out. We had an issue recently where one person was posting very negative and painful personal stuff and then deleting them. The result was the edit feature was timed and now those of us who post something cannot edit or delete it. That is not a good thing to happen. I personally found out about a particular person here and would have deleted my post had I been able to. We accommodate a highly emotional person and then make it impossible for ordinary people to edit their posts except for a few short minutes after they post. It seems to me that one person caused the community to be diminished. No matter, huh, she is a large woman and should be kept here. She might need help but this is not the place to receive it.

Another issue that seldom gets discussed is this business of female admirers. It is bad enough that many men "compete" for the attention of the ladies here. We also have some women do the rounds. Lesbians and bi-sexual people can post here but it sort of leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I always have the feeling they will disapprove of me mainly because I am a man. Well, I always wonder about that. Those women might not consciously be doing anything of the sort. However, look at how admirers behave towards the women here. They are biased and threat them better because they fancy them. Women who fancy other women might tend to treat the men as competitors.

Talking about this competition business this is something where we can evolve. Most admirers have not met other admirers in real life. I have met two. We have seen a history in these forums where the men clamour over the ladies all trying to impress them about how great they are and how much they like fat. The gals love to be praised for their looks. Who doesn't? The admirers do a good thing reinforcing the ladies in a positive way. However, these men tend to dismiss other men and not befriend any. If I look at the threads it is rare to see any male bonding. This is really sad. We admirers should be helping each other along and that sort of thing. All that testosterone is not always a helpful thing.

Well, I hope Tina and Missaf and Sandie Z are not reading this post. It is much better to ignor others, especially if they mention you.

I wonder what the intelligent, mature women here think of this place? I imagine they would find this a very light and perhaps trivial forum. Whatever serious issues are discussed? It has turned into a sort of cliquish circus where too many are worried about status and such. All that patting on the back gets tedious. Oh, and why should we support fat women who post and blame their bodies for their hapless situations? Cuddly women insist it is what is on the inside that counts. I imagine they believe that they are nicer as persons because they are fat. Hummm. Where is the universal proof of that? Oh, most fat women suffer. I was with one recently who was hurt because she felt others staring at her because she was eating an ice cream cone. She told me she sees this disapproval all the time and it really hurts her. I think it was Mindy who stated that only really fat women know what it is like to be that way. The admirers and husbands think they know but they probably just see the tip of the emotional iceberg.

Well, that is it for now. I don't want this to be too long!
