Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bake

The variations of this recipe are endless (just do a google search yourself), but here's mine:

  1. Grease a 2 qt rectangular pan (use shortening, Pam just doesn't work)
  2. Brown 1 package of Jimmy Dean sausage (Regular, Sage, or Hot) in a hot skillet. Use a potato masher to break the sausage into small peices. Drain. Spread in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Beat 8 eggs in a mixing bowl. Add 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup bread crumbs, a teaspoon mustard, a dash of cayenne pepper sauce, and a dash of soy sauce. Mix well. Pour over the top of the sausage, evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top (I like to use pre-shredded colby jack cheese).
  5. Bake at 325, for 45 minutes.
