Jennifer Holiday just sang the ever-loving-jeezus out of "I'm Not Going" on top of a building in Hollyweird (cross fingers it shows up on youboob soon). My GOD - I didn't think that song could be done any better or more uniquely than the way she did it the first time, but she did it again. Totally new spark, talent, spin. Honestly, I had chills. What an amazing and gracious statement, at once giving tribute to the movie that has disturbingly left her behind and pronouncing "the role is still MINE" at the same time.
LOVE her.
