I may be a little slow on this idea, since they may already be happening but...on another forum I'm on (where I'm a mod), we have these regional get togethers.
Because the other board is composed of several messageboards, each for a different section of the state (its a MB for those who live in my state), we hold regional get togethers, one for each section of the state.
I realize Dim is worldwide, but could that be done? Maybe everyone in the UK gets together, then everyone in a section of the US, etc?
I have a selfish interest in doing this (a thread on the food board made me think of it)....I like to cook and have no one to cook it for anymore (I'm on a special diet for my IBS; hubby is a diabetic, etc)....so I want people who LIKE to eat, to cook for!
We could have a potluck or something!
