I decided to take on a new direction in what I'm doing. That happens every now and then, and usually explains why I take breaks... Anyway, I wanted more meaning in some of the stuff I did, and I think I found it.

I want to take the images of hungry consumption and replace them with satisfied stewardship. Or something like that. I thought on things for a while and hit on how, ever since mass media really started shooting the big guns at us little guys, using television and other mediums to convert us into consumers from customers, the images of advertising have become increasingly unattainable. The models are starved, unsatisfied, unfulfilled. Are we to strive to be who they are, inside and out?

I tried a Chanel ad. I morphed it, not because I wanted another pic of a fat chick, but because I wanted to take the power of the advertisement and change its direction.
