Dimensions has had some interesting retrospectives lately, such as BBW events then and now, and a possible return of Dimensions magazine. What I find especially interesting are several 3- or 4-year-old topics which were suddenly revived in the past few weeks, like "How did you become so fat?", "What do you FA's expect from your BBW's and SSBBW's?", "When did you first find out?" etc. The topics are just as relevant now as they were then.
In particular these revived topics reminded me of several formerly regular members who are now gone. Some simply stopped posting, some left in a huff (or in a minute and a huff), and some quietly deleted their profiles, never to be seen again. It's nice to hear from them again, even if only as voices from the past. I've had my share of ups and downs in the board, and more than a few time-outs, but methinx the best policy is to keep on keeping on. As the wise philosopher Woody Allen once said, "Eighty percent of success is showing up."
Gotta keep moving forward, but occasional looks at where we've been helps keep us on a steady course.
