Starting to look like Mr. Romney was quite a few tax skeletons in this tax return closet. The documents recently posted by Gawker point to Mr. Romney repeatedly toying with the tax evasion line.

This is a situation where just saying trust me I paid all my taxes is just not good enough. If he wants to be President of the United States he better damn well prove that he hasn't been cheating Uncle Sam.

There's a concept in law called burden shifting (when one party makes a preliminary showing the burden shifts to the other party to rebut). The recently released documents raise a lot of red flags. IMHO the burden has now shifted to Mr. Romeny to prove he isn't a tax cheat.
