The great American character actor and television star Ron Silver died of cancer Sunday.
As a movie buff, and a conservative, I was familiar with Silver, and I hope he had some other fans too, maybe here. He was a great actor, as seen in Reversal of Fortune (playing Alan Dershowitz), Enemies: A Love Story and Michael Mann's Ali.
He was also in TV series like The West Wing, Chicago Hope and Veronica's Closet.
My prayers go out to his family.
