If you are, then this piece may be of interest to you. Basically, this quote from the article sums it up:

ALL modern video cameras and camcorders that shoot in h.264 or mpeg2, come with a license agreement that says that you can only use that camera to shoot video for "personal use and non-commercial" purposes (go on, read your manuals)

Now having a small creative/artistic streak myself I perfectly understand that copyright is a mixed blessing. But doesn't stuff like that (DRM crap comes to mind as well) make you wonder if it may be time to rethink our ways of dealing with copyrights and patents?
