There has been a lot of discussion about the situation with the woman who is unable to obtain adequate seating at college. I have read a lot of suggestions about things that she might do or consider to improve her situation.
I have read very few notes from people who are basically asking how they can help or offering ways that they can help.
If we are to change the world we do it step by step but we must not simply hand people weapons and go hide. If we are to effectively change the world we must offer to provide real help to them as they battle the demons of intolerance, discrimination, and ignorance.
