Russell Williams a wild hog?
Each summer, Boonsboro Maryland has what they call Boonsboro Days. Thousands of people drive to Boonsboro, park on the main street in town and spend hours and hours browsing through hundreds of various craft displays and listening to a variety of entertainments. Sometimes it is not possible to park closer than 2 miles away from the fairgrounds. The one main St through Boonsboro becomes a huge traffic jam with traffic moving very slowly.
Last year I went to Boonsboro Days. I parked my car about 2 miles away from the Fairground, took my recumbant tricycle off the back of the car and started riding between the parked cars and a very slowly moving line of traffic. After I had gone about a mile I suddenly found that I was in the middle of about 10 large motorcycles. Some of them had high-rise handlebars. I settled into the middle of this pack that was traveling between three and 7 miles an hour. People on the sidewalk could hear the roar of large motorcycles and turn and see a bunch of motorcyclists with their hands on their high-rise handlebars and dressed in an assortment of leathers.
In the middle of this gang, in front of a large sign that read, Elect Russell Williams school board there was this 300 pound fat man on a recumbent tricycle waving at people and keeping up with the pack.
Some days I have interesting adventures.
Yours truly,
Russell Williams
