Like many, I grew up hearing that Friday the 13th is unlucky. I've never really had horrible things happen on Friday the 13th (they seem to wait for my birthday lol), but for some reason, the myth about it has always made me convinced that Saturday the 14th has to be supremely lucky--containing all the good luck that didn't get used the day before. Nutty? Sure. But no nuttier than any other superstition.
Anyway, in the spirit of believing that today is a lucky day, I'm going to post some good luck type things that have happened to me today. Aka little blessings.
1: I've been wanting a bouncy ball, you know those little rubber super bounce balls...yeah yeah I'm 30 and that's odd, but bouncy balls are fun. (npi) This morning, I found one in a parking lot. Not only is it a bouncy ball, it glows in the dark. Super cool.
2: I have been wanting to hear this song. I haven't heard it in forever--it's an older song and I don't really listen to the radio anyway. About an hour ago, I got the feeling that I should turn on the radio for this song and BOOM there it was.
