SCRIPTS:
How does someone write a script for a movie? Are there any good sites to get outlines, or documents from that would help in creating a script? Where are good places to submit a script once completed? How would you go about editing a script? Is there some way to copyright a script before trying to sell it? Is it smarter to copyright a script, or to copyright the fundamental idea behind the script?
DRAWING:
Where would someone learn to draw better or improve their talent/skills? What would be the best approach to improving? Can anyone recommend a way of practice which doesn't feel forced or painfully boring? Do any artists out there find drawing boring to do at times? How can a person obtain greater range of ability? (Genre, perception, view, etc)
How can a person force themselves to finish a drawing? Is there any way around compulsively avoiding finishing drawings and works of art?
Where are good places to submit art? How does one get a piece of drawn art onto the computer without a digital pad (pen/pad hooked to the computer)?
DESIGN:
How does one find documents that lend themselves well as a layout or outline, perhaps tutorial on how to create design documents and layouts for games? How does one create a role-playing game's statistics system? In what way would a person go about creating and compiling a game idea so as to prepare a final copy for copyright, and later sale to a company? Where would you go for advice on game ideas? If someone designed a game which included the possibility of their being a full range of peoples' sizes, would this board tend to be more receptive to it? How does one gather a team to help create a game? How does one go about designing the game mechanics? Is there any way of determining what a game would be genre wise based on the story line?
NOVELS:
How would one go about starting a novel? Is there anyone who would be willing to give their opinion and knowledge about writing novels and books? How does one determine whether an idea is big enough to be a novel or not? What genre is usually best to try to write for? Are there any ways in which to improve writing ability? Is a book character driven, plot driven, or theme driven? Can it be all of them? Which one is more likely to be successful to a reader? How can one make a villain likeable? What is it like to write huge stories? Are stories easy to create and come naturally, or do they take time and lots of preparation?
GENERAL:
How would one go about writing all their ideas down on paper or another medium when one doesn't necessarily have the memory or vocabulary for such an endeavor? Is there anyway to increase your creativity and help expand your ability to create? Is there any place to find people who would be interested in an aspiring lyricist(sp?)? How can one expand upon their ideas without damaging the original intent of the idea itself?
