Last night I went to my old high school to see the band and chorus perform Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in its entirety.

AHHHMAZING.

I was so impressed with the talent of the students, I almost cried!

In trying to recreate the album cover, the band wore different colored uniforms from other high schools. Along the back wall were cutouts of popular icons from today, including Obama, Palin, Darth Vader and Homer Simpson.

Different instruments and effects were used to make the songs perfect. The kid that sang Lucy In The Sky really did sound like John Lennon!

Im so proud of these kids! They got to study an incredible album by an incredible band and they put on a spectacular show!

Im gonna cry just thinking about it. Oh my high school was fun!:p
