Hi there, my name is Chris and I am a BHM. I'm 5'8 at 370lbs. I just signed up for the Dimensions forum today and I'm mostly looking for people to talk to.
He's my situation. I had no idea about Dimensions/FFAs or any thing like that until I met a girl 2 ½ years ago... who was a self proclaimed FFA. We dated for a year and half... then we got engaged. August 15th would have been the one year anniversary of us being engaged... except that on August 2nd... she dumped me. Confusingly... one of the reasons she dumped me was my weight. She didn't like that I couldn't walk very fast or that I would get winded if we were walking around the city for awhile. I'm big... I figured she would understand and not mind those sort of things given that... well, she liked big men. I have wanted to lose some weight for health reasons, but certainly never all of it... I've always liked being a big man, I like the confidence and the presence that a big man has, I'd never want to be a stick figure.
My self-proclaimed FFA didn't just dump me after our long relationship without even really talking to me about our problems, because there was more to it than just my weight and all the problems weren't on my end either, but not two weeks later... she started dating someone else.
Not just any someone else, but someone who was supposed to be my friend (guess I was wrong)... he also makes more money than me, and he also is in shape and goes to the gym almost everyday. And on top of all that their first date was on August 15th... and for those of you following along... that would have been the anniversary of our engagement... and they went to the cafe that we went to together for our two year anniversary. This... made me... quite upset.
So this has shattered my confidence quite a bit in FFAs and makes me wonder if people do really appreciate a big man... and accept the rough stuff that comes with being big.
