I am a huge dumbass. Literally and figuratively. This happened last night:
I was sitting at a table with a couple of friends and this girl I know, whose really nice and everything comes up to me and talks to me (she was sitting by herself at another table, I didn't see her). That's cool and all when she starts like, sliding her hand up and down my sholder, even a little lower
doh. Now, normally (I hope) i'd get this signal right away and hit the ball out of the park, trotting the bases but NOOOO not today. So anyways the group starts to fill up and she asks me "Want to come sit with me?"
And that's where it went wrong.. I stupidly replied "Why dont you sit here?" and she said "Because I don't like ......" (a guy at the table) and then it got silent and she left .
Even worse, took me about a hour to realize it. I walked back to my dorm thinking "Hum-dee-dum" when I went to go number 2 and sat down and yelled "F--K". The realization came to mind.
I bet I got some weird looks
Anywho, to justify myself in all of this (haha) is that...I wasn't in a normal state of mind when this occured so like.... I think the worse thing was that...I realized these were signals at the time, but because I wasn't 100%, I "chickend out" and decided to strike out 1-2-3 .
So...FFA's...it must be incredibly annoying when someone doesn't catch your signals, let alone when someone chickens out.
