Anyone know if Silhouette embosses the width of the shoe on the bottom of the sole next to the shoe size?

I’ve always thought that if there wasn’t a width that means you are to assume that they are a medium. A few weeks ago I order a pear of WW off of Ebay, but when I went to put them on they were WAY too narrow.

The sticker on the in-sole had the width, but the bottom of the sole didn’t. So I wrote the seller and she told me Silhouette’s never emboss the width on the sole of their shoes. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone had problems with their wide widths before?
