I've been thinking...
The singles thread is a place where we can declare ourselves single, happy, unhappy, lonely, social/friendly, content...etc.
Most of the posts I read are from people who often declare their unhappiness with being single. They want to know why they can't just find that one person to love them/make them happy. Now, I definitely understand that most of us want that special someone to share our lives with, BUT:
Why should you expect someone else to make you happy, when you can't even make yourself happy?
All I can think is that it is so refreshing when I actually encounter posts from people who are happy and proud to be single. Not to mention, completely living it up!
I think we need a place to sing praise to Singledom and its awesomeness.
What do you get out of being single? And why do you love it?
