Well, it's my second day on the job, and school gets called off for a snow day. I really didn't think it would, but I'm glad someone kept an eye on the forecast. It's been snowing for almost 9 hours straight, with the wind drifting it everywhere. The bus rides for the kids would not have been good tonight.
Does anyone else get to "benefit" in some way from incement weather? We did our grocery shopping this a.m. before it got really bad, I got some cleaning done, and now get to spend time here with my hot cocoa.
Trouble is, these last couple days of the week were supposed to give me a chance to get used to the school's routine and stuff like that, so I feel like I got cheated.
OK, enough griping. The snow really is pretty on the trees. But I think it's supposed to continue til midnight. That's another 9 hours.
