A recent post in a recent thread made me do some self-examination. No, I don't hope to make a habit of it, but I will say that it made me realise something: I don't like the kind of person I'm making myself out to be. If I met me, I'd think, y'know, this guy's an egotistical dick.
That's not me. I hope it never will be.
To be sure, I've got some things going on in my life that are getting me down, but it's still no excuse for the way I've behaved of late. (Some would, perhaps rightfully, say I've been this way all along. Who knows.)
So here you have it, mea culpa. I've been an asshole, and I apologize. I'll be back when I've got some of the causes for this behaviour under control.
All the best,
Michael
P.S. I know, I hate these threads as much as you do, and for that I also apologize.
