Directions: I 95 or Turnpike to Sample road, go west and just at the bottom of the bridge from the Turnpike overpass is Tradewinds Park. We will be at the north entrance on the right. Last year we were near Butterfly World, but this year we are at the other entrance across Sample Road at North Tradewinds Park.
The cost is $1.50 per person to get into the park and bring your own picnic. We paid for the pavilion and will supply the plates, napkins, forks, charcoal. You bring food and drinks for your family & friends that come with you. Or group up and make meal plans with others to simplify your picnic. Get creative.
No glass please. And please bring footballs, kickballs, volleyballs, and toys or games for your kids to play. There is a lake for fishing and a huge grass area to play in. Come lay in the sun on a blanket or chair, or play dominoes under the pavilion. Whatever you want to do to relax and have fun, that's what it's about. Just please do not wear a picnic-tablecloth as a blouse! EEEEKS! lol

stay in the right lane as you approach the large overpass bridge for I 95 and keep to the right on the service road. That service road will go alongside of the bridge and around under the bridge straight into Ramada Inn.
