From time to time, as I peruse the Main Index, I will glance down at the bottom and notice a new registrant. There have been several times that the name will arouse suspicion (like the most recent one today: I Googled the name and noticed that they registered on a lot of different boards yesterday but have made no posts.) I have seen quite a number of "business" or "advertising" types of names register, in addition to our basic troll types.

The question is--if the registrant doesn't make a post, there isn't a one-touch way to report them, as with the "report bad post" icon. Is there an icon in place that could be added to a profile, or do we just contact mods manually if we have a concern or want to bring such types to their attention? I once got a PM from some name I'd never heard of, wanting to sell me a bra or something. I'm posting this openly in case others were wondering or have had similar experiences.
