As you all know I lost my nephew in December of 2007. He was only 3 month 3 days old., ( You can read about there story here http://isaiahross.remembered-forever.org/) He died of SIDS. If you not familiar with what SIDS is let me give you an explanation I found on the net:
SIDS stands for sudden infant death syndrome, a term used to describe the sudden and unexplained death of a baby younger than 1 year. Some people call it crib death, because most babies are found in their cribs, but cribs do not cause SIDS.
So basically its something that takes the lives of healthy babies with no signs or warnings. My sister in law is participating in The National Spring for SIDS 2008 on April 18th. Its to raise money for awareness and research in to what causes SIDS and how we can prevent more babies to betaken before there lives even have a chance to get off the ground.
If you can PLEASE make a donation. Donations are allowed in Minimum amount of $25. But you can also purchase stickers that help the cause for only $5.
Please do what you can to help raise Awareness, Prevention and Research for SIDS.
