How do you cook your corned beef?

  • I throw it all in the crock pot for an all-day slow cook.

  • I braise/boil/stew it on the stove.

  • I roast it in the oven.

Being half Irish and carrying on the tradition learned from Mom, who was of Irish descent, I like my corned beef and cabbage on St. Paddy's day.

This year I decided, eh, why wait? I have a good portion of corned beef in the crock pot along with a mess o' potatoes. I'll steam some cabbage up (only because it won't fit in the crock pot) to go along with it.

Just curious- how do you cook up your corned beef?
