The National Association of Letter Carriers will be collecting non-perishable food items on Saturday, May 13th to help families in need in their varying communities. You can help by placing a donation at your mailbox before the mail person arrives. Items will be collected and taken to various local food banks or pantries for distribution. While this is a nationwide campaign, it benefits local communities and no money is lost on administrative costs. Seems like a win/win to me!
I am going to be doing my part, just wanted to urge my fellow board participants here in the US to do the same if you can.
