After the other discussion on Star, I was thinking about her situation. In yesterday's local paper, the PARADE Magazine section has a new pic of her, and (almost schizophrenically) the coupon section has an ad for "Especially Yours", a clothing company for sizes 8 to 32W, and it features her OLD pic (MUCH prettier), with a mention of her clothing line (?), "Star Jones Designs".

Does her wt loss mean she will be stopping the clothing line? BEAUTIFUL dress clothing and hats, I have to check it out since they do have my size. I noticed its for "African-American women"...when I was a little kid, I used to sit on my front porch and gawk at all the big, beautiful black women all dressed up, going to church. I used to want to look like them with their fancy hats. Now I know where to get their clothes from!

If anyone else is interested, the site for the clothing catalog is:

http://www.EspeciallyYours.com

BTW my son (age 14 and thinking about girls a LOT, lol), took a look at both pics and said, "Eew! She looks so OLD there!" (post wt loss pic) He kept saying over and over how much better she looks heavy. He said (quote), "If I was looking for a girl to marry, I'd go for her when she was fat!"

From the mouths of babes, what can I say? :)
