Yes, I do it all the time.

It's not my fault, and it is certainly NOT WRONG!

I refer, of course, to my practice of including the letter 'u' within words such as 'colour', and 'humour' (...er, which already has a 'u' in it, near the beginning...), whilst others neglect this last (sequentially) of the 'full-time' vowels.

They belong there. It is only Noah Webster, of such disposition as to think that Americans needed a language distinct from English english, that thought they had no business following the 'o' around.

Personally, I like the 'u'.

It's got a nice rounded bottom.

(And as far as chasing the 'o' goes, who amoungst us hasn't done that, from time to time?)

In conclusion, I ask that the next time you find yourself just about to type the 'r' in 'honour', think of our faithful ally, the 'u'...and stick it in there!

Thank 'U'.
