Stories from the fat character point of view?

The great white north, eh?
Sort of an observation, and an invitation to speculate.

- There are lots of stories written from the perspective of an FA, both in first person and in third person.

- There are quite a few written from the point of view of the neutral, abstract, omniscient narrator about people getting fat, this seems to be the preferred form for stories of unintentional gain.

- There are some stories which switch between viewpoints between FA and fat character, but it seldom seems that the first person is really the protagonist. They are being acted upon more than they are acting.

But, at least to me, there does not seem to be many stories really from the point of view of a fat person, with the fat person really being the main actor in the story. I know that there are some (and feel free to point me to your favorites of this style). But they seem not so common.

And yet....the participants on the Dimensions boards, as far as posters, are probably more of them fat than otherwise (I would guess that a lot of the lurkers are FA). There is certainly no shortage of fat people, some portion of whom enjoy being fat in some degree.

So I wonder, is it harder to make a plot line of this sort? Is it that FA are more apt to have fantasies that lead into writing stories? Is that the Dimensions started off with weight gain stories to entertain FA and that tradition still influences what gets written and posted here?

What are your thoughts?

(And of course, should you feel the desire to go write a story with a BBW or BHM protagonist, please go for it!)
