I wonder how I made it to the ripe age of 26 with some of the things I used to do such as :

Chewing on newspaper (I was around 4 or 5) because I really did think it tasted like chicken. There was food in my house, it wasn't like the cupboards were bare.

Go "ice skating" in the bathtub. I would take a bar of soap, swirl it around the bottom and sides, hold on to the shower rod and skate back and forth.

And then there was the somewhat bizarre:

decaiptating my barbies, burning their hair on lightbulbs, taking off various limbs. Apparently this one is isn't so strange. There was a British journal article several years ago explaining how common Barbie mulitation is among young girls. So I wasn't a budding serial killer.

Finally, weeping willows frightened me. It was the way they swayed in the breeze. The branches looked like they could reach out and strangle you.
