I got my cat recently (the Chi DID turn out to be from a backyard breeder, so I reported her to the proper people), and she does some strange things, but this is by fair the oddest:
She likes male visitors.
She likes to sit on said visitors' laps.
She likes to proceed to kneed said visitors' laps with her paws, like she's going to lay down, but then she never does.
Such stimulation to such a male area brings about an inevitable bodily reaction.
Thank god my friends find it humorous and aren't embarrassed, but I was slightly weirded out the first time it happened. Now I just warn my friends when they come over, and they find it hilarious. Usually they TRY to get her to sit on their laps, now.
Anybody else's animals have such unusual mannerisms?
