This organization is one I like to post about on boards that I frequent. Angel Food network. Basically you buy a box (or boxes) of food for $25 per box. Many people confuse it with charity but it has no income restrictions. In fact the more people participate the more money the charity generates since they buy in bulk. It is run through Christian churches but you do not have to be any particular religion to buy food. They have never asked about my religion when I went to pick up the boxes either.
I have not really had room for this much food since I started couponing - it is a LOT of food for $25. I love the chicken tenders though.
