It's been a while since I've drawn anything and now I'm ready to start a project in that area. I want to do a series of drawings called "Suggestions". They'll be black and whites and I want each one to convey a sense of feminine strength. They can convey other things, but I want strength to be in there. No vulnerability in these.
Firm, solid resolution... OK, that means the camera should be angled upwards to some extent and the head should be lifted somewhat so the eyes look down the nose ever so slightly. Or if it's a head-on shot, drop the chin and give the camera that LOOK. You know the one. Maybe you smile, and maybe you don't, but it's the one that says, "I'm coming to GET you." I don't care if the person behind the camera is in trouble or is getting a reward: it's YOU in control of the situation.
Why the title? Well, sometimes a picture is suggestive in a come-hither sort of way. I want these to instead be a suggestion of almost a predator-prey relationship.
No nudes. None of that naked and vulnerable crap. I won't guarantee your image will be selected for inclusion, but I will guarantee those who I do choose will get a free copy of the final product, which will be very nice, indeed. I'm hoping for 64 8x10 pages when I'm done, and it should be a helluva PDF file. If you send more than one pic, I won't complain. May even use more than one of you...
