I have NO summer clothes. I went away for a week last week and had difficulty packing enough stuff to last me the whole time so I just threw in a couple pairs of jeans and some old sporty shirts I've had since Clinton was president. Aside from being pointed and laughed at in my black 'ZERO' sports jersey by some of my classical vocalist colleagues I was roasting all weekend. I'm known for being a bit more stylish and savvy than I've been feeling lately due to stress and some mild life changes and I guess I've just sorta let myself go a bit. I was so hot this weekend in those clothes I wanted to collapse backward into the nearest body of water.
Without revealing any more of the humiliating details, I had a good friend sit me down and tell me that it's time to get some new clothes. This is an emergency. I'm taking another long trip and I've just got to have more summery things to wear, only problem is I hate almost everything I see now. I'm a supersized BBW somewhere around a 36w - 38w depending on make and model. Is there anything you bought this summer that you absolutely just *love* and think looks great on you?
