Anyone found something that they're obsessed with at the moment?

I've got two books that I haven't been able to put down.

The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril, by Paul Malmont. Pulp in the best sense of the word - a blast to read... although, if anyone here is a scientologist, they probably wouldn't like it as L.Ron Hubbard is depicted more or less as Jimmy Olsen. Hilarious, and easily the best title given to any book.

Europe Central, by William T. Vollmann. easily the most epic book I've read in years. The only thing I can think to compare it with is War and Peace (and no, not because it says so on the back, but because it actually has a similar scope to it) Also one of the most beautiful books, linguistically and metaphorically. The section titled "The Palm Tree of Deborah" really caught me off guard.

And for those seeking a less than intelligent pursuit...

The Alphabet of Manliness, by Maddox. For those that have seen The Best Page in the Universe, you know exactly what you're getting into here, and it ain't pretty, but holy sh*t is it funny, providing you are not PC in any way, shape or form... good times...

and my damage is done! Hope I catch someone's attention!
