I am thinking of doing a ".5k Santa Speedo Sprint" as a fundraiser for my nonprofit next year.
Do you think this is horribly tacky and would turn people off to donating to my organization? Or funny and would generate a ton of publicity for us?
I'm leaning toward the latter, but bear in mind I live in an area whose motto is "Keep Austin Weird" and which has a homeless transgendered individual and a homeless transvestite individual running for Mayor each election term.
