Target seems to be beefing up their plus line again...just slightly. The store in my home town has a small section that is grudgingly wedged between the exercise clothes and maternity, but it's there, and right now, they have a few cute things.
I got a small bonus from work and am in desperate need of new tops for work, so I got these two last night:
The first one isn't a style I've tried before, and wasn't sure I'd like it, but the material is so pretty, it grabbed me on sight and I had to have it. The review on the site said it's not flattering if you have big hips..and well...my hips are BIG. I asked Cindy what she thought of it (I'm wearing it today) and she said it looks good, so I'll keep it. It's very comfy and soft. I normally wear a 32, and this is a 28-30, and fits fine, with room to spare, and it's not stretchy. It's sheer, so I'm wearing a camisole underneath in a nice shade of green.
The second one is my favorite. The satin part isn't as glaringly shiny as the pic shows, and the color is very rich. I tried it on last night and fell in love with the fit and how it felt-it's very soft and comfortable. It's also a 28-30, but fits me perfectly. I'd like to go back and get it in another color.
These pictures don't do either of these tops justice. I found that's the case with the Target site in general..some their clothes in person are much more attractive than they look online. That said, much of their plus line is rather boring to me, with a few really cute and/or comfy things, but I think it's a good place to pick up some basic staples for fall, and their prices are pretty reasonable, as well.
